Terms & Conditions.
TrueLens Creative
These Terms & Conditions apply to all services provided by TrueLens Creative (“we”, “our”, “us”) to any client (“you”, “your”).
By engaging our services, you agree to the following terms.
1. Services
We provide video production services including pre-production, filming and post-production.
All work is carried out based on agreed scope, timeline and pricing outlined in your quote or proposal.
2. Payment Terms
A 50% deposit is required to secure all bookings. Work will not commence until the deposit has been received.
The remaining 50% balance is due within 14 days of invoice.
Final deliverables will not be released until full payment has been received, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Late payments may incur administrative fees and/or interest charges. Accounts exceeding 60 days may be referred to a collection agency.
3. Revisions
All projects include 2 rounds of revisions unless otherwise agreed.
Additional revisions will be billed at $120 per hour.
Feedback must be provided within 7 days of receiving each draft. Delays in feedback may result in timeline adjustments.
4. Project Delays & Inactivity
Project timelines are dependent on client communication and feedback.
If feedback is delayed, delivery timelines will be adjusted accordingly.
Projects inactive for 30 days or more may be archived. Reactivation may incur additional fees.
5. Ownership & Usage
All content remains the property of TrueLens Creative until full payment has been received.
Upon full payment, the client is granted usage rights to the final delivered content.
TrueLens Creative retains the right to use all produced content for portfolio, marketing and promotional purposes unless otherwise agreed in writing.
6. Raw Footage
Raw footage is not included in standard packages.
If required, raw footage can be supplied for an additional fee, agreed in writing.
7. Filming & Production
A standard production day includes up to 10 hours on site.
Overtime is charged at $180 per hour.
Travel within standard metro areas is included within this timeframe. Additional travel or accommodation requirements will be quoted separately.
8. Expenses
Standard expenses such as parking and tolls are included.
Accommodation and any significant additional costs will be charged separately and agreed upon in advance.
9. Cancellations
If a confirmed booking is cancelled within 7 days of the scheduled shoot, the deposit is non-refundable.
Cancellations outside this period may be rescheduled or refunded at our discretion.
10. File Storage
Project files and final deliverables are retained for up to 90 days after completion.
After this period, files may be deleted without notice.
Clients are responsible for maintaining their own backups once final files are delivered.
11. Liability
While all reasonable care is taken, TrueLens Creative is not liable for circumstances outside of our control, including equipment failure, unforeseen events or third-party issues.
Liability is limited to the total amount paid for the services.
12. Client Responsibilities
The client is responsible for:
Providing clear instructions and timely feedback
Supplying required materials (logos, assets, etc.)
Obtaining permissions for filming locations where required
13. Amendments
We reserve the right to update these Terms & Conditions at any time. The latest version will always apply to new projects.
